2027 BMW i7
The seventh-generation BMW 7 Series gets a new, streamlined exterior and a screen-centric interior for 2027, as BMW’s latest in-car operating system forgoes the old iDrive control knob for primarily touch-based inputs. The all-electric i7 offers the 50 xDrive with 449-hp, and 60 xDrive with 536-hp versions of its dual-motor, AWD powertrain. The 60 xDrive has a BMW-estimated range of up to 350 miles. Ostentatious options include two-tone paint that combines matte and glossy finishes, a reclining rear seat, and the ability to transform the rear seats into a rolling movie theater using the 31.3-inch drop-down infotainment screen. For the gas 7 Series, rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive 740 with 394-hp, 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine, are available. A 483-hp 750e xDrive plug-in hybrid follows in early 2027 as well as a V8-powered M Performance trim in the future.
