Looking something like a cousin of the Range Rover Evoque, the Fisker Ocean pure-electric SUV features a solar roof and a 17-inch center touch screen that can be rotated 90 degrees for either a horizontal or a vertical display layout. The interior, which features recycled materials throughout, seats five passengers. EPA driving range figures are not yet available, but Fisker estimated the front-wheel-drive single-motor version has a 231-mile range, and the all-wheel-drive dual-motor variant can go up to 360 miles on a charge. The Ocean will offer a standard active driving assistance system called Fisker Intelligent Pilot, which includes AEB, and BSW among other systems. On June 17, 2024, Fisker Group, Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. In a statement, the company said that it planned to continue limited operations including 'preserving certain customer programs.' New vehicle manufacturing will remain on pause as it has been for several months.
