2023 Infiniti QX60

Nissan’s luxury sub-brand sells stylish vehicles that deliver mixed results. Fit and finish is usually good, especially in the quiet, luxurious interiors. But Infiniti often falls short of competitors in fuel economy and handling. Some of its vehicles also score low in our owner satisfaction surveys, and most new models scored average for predicted reliability. New vehicles come standard with a full suite of active safety and driver assist systems. The brand’s lowest-priced option is a two-row compact SUV with a variable compression engine that attempts to deliver both fuel economy and sporty performance. The brand’s larger midsized, three-row SUV is roomy and quiet, with competitive fuel economy and quick acceleration. The largest Infiniti is a large three-row, high-end SUV that competes against Land Rover and Mercedes-Benz. With options, its price can cross $100,000. Among Infiniti’s discontinued vehicles, some sedans and coupes can be recommended among used luxury cars.

The QX60 was redesigned for the 2022 model year. The cabin has a modern look, while adding rich leather and modern controls. Through 2024, the QX60 shared the 295-hp, 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission with the redesigned Nissan Pathfinder. For the 2025 model year, the V6 engine was replaced with a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylilnder. Front- and all-wheel drive are available.

A standard 12.3-inch touch screen, mounted prominently on top of the center dash, has an elegant, integrated look. Many functions are handled via the screen or steering wheel controls. Seven-passenger seating is standard. The one-touch controls tilt and slide the outboard second-row seats forward, providing a path to the third-row seats, which Infiniti claims are roomier than in the previous generation. Standard active safety systems include FCW, AEB with pedestrian detection, LDW, and BSW. The ProPilot Assist system, which is standard on all but the Pure trim, uses adaptive cruise control and steering assistance to keep the QX60 within the lane markings while driving.
