Cadillac's first electric-only model introduces the styling and technology expected to be used on future vehicles. Although low and lean like a wagon, the Lyriq takes as much parking space as an XT6, sharing a similar length and width. The initial Lyriq is a 340-horsepower, rear-drive model with a 100-kWh battery--a combination that the automaker estimates is good for at least 300 miles of range. A performance-oriented, all-wheel-drive version will follow. The Lyriq offers the latest version of the Super Cruise driver assistance system. Updates for 2025 include a slight horsepower increase for both RWD and AWD models as well as a standard OnStar package that includes eight years of automatic crash response among other connected services. The passenger seat also gains two memory settings as standard. A technology package with a hands-free liftgate and a rear camera mirror is available.
