Cadillac is primarily a luxury brand, selling quieter and higher-tech variants of Chevrolet vehicles. Its SUV line spans from compact options up to the enormous Escalade. Several boldly designed EV models have excellent range, quick acceleration, and fast charging speeds. There’s also the V-Series, a line of performance versions available for several vehicles, which can compete with the best sports sedans from Europe. Most models are available with excellent driver assistance tech, including GM’s Super Cruise. New car reliability across the brand is average. Several new models are Consumer Reports recommended for their interior quality, comfort, and fit and finish. We also recommend some of the brand’s used models.

The Vistiq occupies the space between Cadillac's two other electric SUVs--the midsized 2-row Lyriq and the full-sized Escalade IQ. Like the larger model, the Vistiq comes standard with a dual-motor electric drivetrain, albeit with less power, a lower 300-mile range, and a drastically smaller price tag. Stylistically, it features a rather conventional Cadillac SUV look adorned with a printed circuitboard faux grille panel and some digitally-inspired filigree printed on the rear quarter windows. It comes standard with Super Cruise, Cadillac's impressive driver assistance technology that adds hands-free driving capability to the adaptive cruise control system. The second and third row seats can be folded for more cargo space, and there are storage spaces in the cargo floor and all four doors.
