The Vistiq occupies the space between Cadillac's two other electric SUVs--the midsized 2-row Lyriq and the full-sized Escalade IQ. Like the larger model, the Vistiq comes standard with a dual-motor electric drivetrain, albeit with less power, a lower 305-mile range, and a drastically smaller price tag. With over 600 horsepower, this luxury coach is quick, effortless and quiet. It has an 11.5 kW on-board charger for relatively quick home charging and a robust 190 kW max acceptance rate in public DC-fast charging places. The air suspension keeps this seven passenger SUV settled and controlled. Handling is responsive. Regen braking can be applied on the fly by a steering paddle paddle, which is handy. Controls are a bit convoluted with several functions taking multiple steps and, there is no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto compatibility. The second and third row seats can be folded for more cargo space, and there are storage spaces in the cargo floor and all four doors. Stylistically, it features a rather conventional Cadillac SUV look adorned with a printed circuitboard faux grille panel and some digitally-inspired filigree printed on the rear quarter windows. It comes standard with Super Cruise, Cadillac's impressive driver assistance technology that adds hands-free driving capability to the adaptive cruise control system.
