Following the path of the mechanically related Model 3, the Model Y has been updated for March 2025, with revised features and a freshened appearance showcasing Cybertruck-like horizontal lighting, front and rear. The all-wheel-drive configuration has a 327-mile EPA-estimated driving range on a full charge. The rear-wheel drive has a driving range of 357 miles. Several interior updates include ventilated front seats, expanded connectivity, a screen (behind the front armrest console) for the second-row passengers, and a power-folding second row. The updated 2024 Model 3 that we purchased and tested brought a quieter cabin, improved interior materials, a smoother ride, and an 8-inch climate and infotainment touchscreen for rear passengers. We expect these changes to be applied similarly to the new Y.
