The newest Nissan is also its first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle sold in the U.S., offering 38 miles of all-electric range, a total driving range of up to 420 miles, and standard all-wheel drive. It is powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a dual-motor hybrid system with a 20-kWh lithium-ion battery. It looks slightly different from the standard Rogue lineup, but very similar to the Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-In Hybrid, right down to an interior with 3-row seating that's a near-match for the 2025 Mitsu. That’s no coincidence--the Rogue and Outlander already share a platform, and this is just the latest example of sharing between the two brands under a shared corporate umbrella.
