2027 Tesla Model Y L

Tesla is expanding its offerings, literally, by introducing a long-wheelbase version of its popular Model Y for 2027. Stretching about 7 inches longer and standing about 2 inches taller, the Model Y L promises to deliver more passenger and cargo room. It seats up to six passengers total, with two per row. The Model Y L Premium pampers second-row riders with captain's chairs fitted with powered armrests, ventilation and heating, and one-touch folding. With more space than the optional third row in the regular Model Y, the L's third row has power recline, one-touch folding, and climate vents. The dash is fitted with a 16-inch touchscreen for controls and infotainment, and the second row has an 8-inch touchscreen. Tesla claims the dual-motor Model Y L Premium with all-wheel drive has an estimated 325-mile range and can add 164 miles in 15 minutes at a Tesla Supercharger. This trim comes with electronic damping shocks that dynamically respond to road conditions. Full Self-Driving (Supervised) is included for 12 months on the Launch Series Model Y L. Pricing starts at $61,990 for that version.

About Tesla

Tesla’s EVs balance range, performance, innovative technology, and price in ways that older, established manufacturers can rarely beat. The product range includes the popular Model 3 sedan and Model Y SUV. Its range-topping Model S and Model X will be discontinued, leaving the Cybertruck as its flagship… until the roadster arrives. The company’s Supercharger network of charging stations has been a competitive advantage, although most of the industry has since adopted the charge standard. Reliability has been on the rise. However, purchasing a used Tesla can be a gamble.
