From low-cost sedans to three-row EV SUVs, Hyundai has a model for almost every kind of customer. Most new Hyundai vehicles are stylish, functional, and competitively priced, but the brand overall ranks around the middle in Consumer Reports’ Reliability and Owner Satisfaction ratings. Individual models and years vary widely, with some standouts and a few laggards. The core Hyundai lineup includes low-cost subcompacts like the Elantra, and midsized sedans like the Sonata. The ride is firm yet steady, handling is responsive and secure, and the nicely trimmed cabin is relatively quiet. The back seat is roomy, and the cargo area is generous for the class. Controls are easy to use. But higher trims replace physical volume and temperature knobs with touch-sensitive controls and a push-button gear selector. Standard active safety features include FCW, AEB with pedestrian detection, BSW, RCTW, LDW, and LKA. For 2025 The hybrid and PHEV received a slight horsepower increase -- from 226 to 231 for the hybrid and from 261 to 268 for the PHEV. 2025 models also feature a revised interior with a standard 12.3" display and standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
