2025 Cadillac Lyriq
Luxury 4-door SUV AWD 0.0-liter electric (515 hp) (Not Available Electric) Direct 1-speed
MSRP: $58595 ~ $67495

Cadillac is primarily a luxury brand, selling quieter and higher-tech variants of Chevrolet vehicles. Its SUV line spans from compact options up to the enormous Escalade. Several boldly designed EV models have excellent range, quick acceleration, and fast charging speeds. There’s also the V-Series, a line of performance versions available for several vehicles, which can compete with the best sports sedans from Europe. Most models are available with excellent driver assistance tech, including GM’s Super Cruise. New car reliability across the brand is average. Several new models are Consumer Reports recommended for their interior quality, comfort, and fit and finish. We also recommend some of the brand’s used models.
Cadillac's first electric-only model introduces the styling and technology expected to be used on future vehicles. Although low and lean like a wagon, the Lyriq takes as much parking space as an XT6, sharing a similar length and width. The initial Lyriq is a 340-horsepower, rear-drive model with a 100-kWh battery--a combination that the automaker estimates is good for at least 300 miles of range. A performance-oriented, all-wheel-drive version will follow. The Lyriq offers the latest version of the Super Cruise driver assistance system. Updates for 2025 include a slight horsepower increase for both RWD and AWD models as well as a standard OnStar package that includes eight years of "automatic crash response" among other connected services. The passenger seat also gains two memory settings as standard. A technology package with a hands-free liftgate and a rear camera mirror is available.
