2024 Lexus TX Hybrid

Lexus is filling a big hole in its SUV line with the all-new TX, a three-row model that shares its dimensions and many mechanical bits with the new Toyota Grand Highlander. The TX hybrid comes with a punchy 366-hp turbo 2.4-liter four-cylinder hybrid, with an estimated 27 mpg combined. A 404-hp V6 plug-in hybrid with 33 miles of electric-only range is also available. Our 500h F-Sport is taut and agile, giving it some athletic chops. The ride is steady, composed and absorbent even on 22-inch tires. Transitions between electric and gas propulsion are seamless. The cabin is luxurious and the seats are form-fitting and supportive. Unfortunately, the gear selector and interior door handles are unintuitive. Accommodations are spacious for all three rows. The power folding third row is handy. The standard Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 bundles a full suite of active safety and driver assistance features, including LCA, ACC, and auto lane change.
