The overview
The Rogue Hybrid compact SUV debuts an all-new hybrid system that Nissan calls e-Power. Unlike most hybrids, the Rogue Hybrid's three-cylinder gas engine does not directly propel the vehicle. Instead, it acts only as a generator that recharges a built-in battery when needed. The battery powers two electric motors, one at the front and one at the rear. Together, they are good for a combined 225 hp, standard all-wheel drive, and an impressive estimated 38 mpg combined. Features such as heated seats, adaptive cruise control, wireless phone charging, and remote start come standard. The Rogue Hybrid's interior uses physical controls instead of touchscreen menus for common tasks. The exterior previews what the upcoming gas-only Rogue will look like when it goes on sale later in 2027.

Behind the data
Latest source update: October 16, 2026
Vehicle summaries, specifications, pricing and ratings come from Consumer Reports vehicle records. Auto Guide groups these records by model and reported generation start year.
Available years are listed explicitly. Gaps do not imply that a model was discontinued. Prices are source estimates, not live offers. No first-hand road test by Auto Guide is claimed.
